Privacy Policy

SendMate ("we", "us") helps you save places you discover on social media to your own map. This policy explains what we collect and why. We keep it short because we collect little.

What we collect

• Account information. When you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive and store your email address, your name (if provided), and a stable account identifier. We use this only to create and secure your account.
• Content you save. The links you share to SendMate and the places, titles, and summaries we extract from them.

What we do not collect

• Your location. We do not collect or store your device location. Location is used only on your device to center the map, and it never leaves your phone.
• Analytics or tracking. We use no analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. We do not track you across other apps or websites, and we do not sell your data.

How we use your data

Solely to provide the service: authenticating you, analyzing the links you choose to save, and showing your saved places. Links you save are processed by our backend and by Google's APIs (Gemini for content analysis and Google Places for location data) only to extract place information. We do not display, store, or redistribute the source video from those links.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with the service providers required to run SendMate (our cloud hosting and the Google APIs noted above), and only as needed to provide the features described here.

Retention & deletion

We keep your data until you delete it. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings → Delete account in the app. Deletion is immediate and permanent.

Children

SendMate is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date above and post the revised version here.
